NEEF Water Quality Photo Contest – Stream Superhero Mission
Here’s a stream superhero mission for you that pays: The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) and the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water is running a photo contest, now through May 27, 2016. It’s the #H2OBigPicture Photo Contest and they are giving away some pretty impressive prizes. Looks like all you need to do to enter is snap a photo of yourself protecting water quality and enter it online. You have to be at least 13 years of age and they have a few other requirements for captioning the photo, but it all seems simple enough. The photo contest site also offers some great ideas about pictures to take that show off water quality impacts. While you’re entering this super cool contest, don’t forget — these are Stream Superhero moves, I mean why not really impress NEEF and submit your photos in full superhero gear? At the very least, share your photos with us too using #communities4cleanstreams and we’ll take that winning caption you write for the NEEF contest and feature it as your stream superhero story. Good luck shutterbugs! By Kelli Holsendolph. Kelli is Director of Marketing and Communications for Audubon Naturalist Society.
